Granite Countertop Stains
Do you think that stain is permanent? There are some cases in which the stain can not be removed because it may not be a stain at all. There can be changes in the pigment or alteration of the molecules that will appear as stains due to heat, deep scratches or deep staining due to high alkaline or acid products. Many stains, marks and blemishes can be cleaned, polished or mechanically ground out of the stone. Actual stains that have soaked into the stone such as butter, cooking oil or deep food and liquid stains beyond normal cleaning processes can be removed using a 3 step process of using a wet poultice product.
